Description
This little project is about a coral like snow animation. But wait a minute…corals and Christmas? How does that fit?
Should it look like this? Not quite!
A short digression: Corals are divided into soft corals and stony corals with regard to their growth form. According to Wikipedia, soft corals grow “branched, tree-shaped, lobed, crusty or finger-shaped” and this is exactly what is reflected in the snow animation. It’s best you just see for yourself:
The animation is very simple: Along the x-axis, squares are generated at random points. These then “fall” along the y-axis until they meet another square, then they freeze.
